A strange bird
Lara is a singer-songwriter, performer and filmmaker who lives deep in the countryside of the north of England, though she sometimes migrates to busy cities and warmer climes.

On the one hand, she is a real home-bird. She loves nothing more than sitting on the sofa with a good log fire, a book and her dogs, Bruce and Dig Dag. She is close to her family and lives opposite her mum and a few miles away from her sister and nieces.
​
On the other hand, she suffers from an insatiable need to keep moving and reinventing herself. As settled as she is, she has never settled down. 'Album For Ex Lovers' is a visual and musical collection of some of the stories of her loves and lives in different places, but told from the starting point of her piano and her fireplace.
